Jonathan has a master degree in mechanical engineering and joined Mosa Meat to work on the future of food: Growing real meat but through a machine. Breeding and slaughtering animals at its current scale does not only raise ethical concerns but also leads to deforestation, water degradation and adds significantly to our greenhouse gas emissions. Cultured meat has the potential to significantly decrease the environmental impact while still offering the product we know and love.
