Startups - TechChill

The best opportunity to get funding and make contacts for your company at TechChill is through our one-on-one meetings with investors and business angels. After ticket purchase and registration, the organisers will suggest the best match for you based on your shared preferences regarding the industry, amount of funding, location and other factors.

After finding your match, you can then request a meeting with the investor. Once both parties have agreed, we will have a table arranged for you at the meeting area.

From there on it’s up to you to make the best use of the 20 minute meeting! The sooner you will fill out the registration form, the higher your odds of finding a good match.

Please keep in mind that only startup teams who register by January 18 and enter their full profile are eligible for pre-arranged meetings. Register here!

Index Ventures, InReach Ventures, 500startups, Hoxton Ventures, Techstars, StartupBootcamp IOT, Hardware Club, Change Ventures, Startup Sauna and Startup Wise Guys accelerators are just some of the many investors already booked for TechChill, as well as almost 50 individual business angels. However, to make the most of the event, do your research and network on the spot!

You’ll be able to check out attendees on the official app, as well as just meet them by the coffee table. A meeting room area with tables will be available for startups and investors to book and use for spontaneous meetings during the event, as well as interviews with media and potential partners.

TechChill offers startups a chance to gain visibility and promote their product to more than a 1500 event participants at the Startup Expo. The Expo space will include 20 hand-picked startups who’ll achieve increased brand visibility among a unique and targeted audience, reach potential customers and employees from across the Baltics, Nordics and CIS, and make crucial new partnerships with international media, investors and experts in their field.

Applications for the startup expo will be open from August 2017. Please send any inquiries regarding the demo booth to [email protected]

This year’s programme will see a slight departure from the traditional format of a Pitch Battle. Instead of including a lengthy Battle in the programme, the organisers will work together with their partners before the event to hand-pick 50 most promising early stage startups from the region to pitch directly to investors during TechChill.

Direct Pitching will be a great opportunity for startups to pitch straight to their potential investors, business angels and other supporters without the overwhelming noise of a busy crowd. The resulting interaction is aimed at producing quality communication and in depth understanding between both parties.

Details and application deadlines to be announced soon.

Here in the Baltic we look out for each other and always try our best to offer our friends and partners great deals to cross-Baltic startup events. Last year we had the special North Bus from Helsinki and Tallinn and the South Bus from Vilnius, bringing our colleagues straight into the heart of the city. And naturally, who could forget the steaming hot sauna on wheels, which travelled all the way from the even colder Finland!

What will we have in store this year? Stay tuned about the newest deals and offers via our newsletter (subscribe here) or via our social media.
