20 of the most promising Ukrainian startups have been carefully selected. Their founders have shown real energy, ambition, and strong potential for global scaling and export.
As part of the program, they improved how they pitch, talk to investors, and grow their markets. They will be showcased at TechChill Riga March 25-27, 2026, where they’ll be able to meet future investors and business partners and take the next step in their growth.

Marvin Liao | CIO & Partner at Sukna Holdings
An Investor-Operator, Marvin manages the Investment Holding Company Sukna Global. He was formerly a Partner/Board member at Game Groove Capital, an International Gaming Holding Company.
He was best known as a Partner at Venture Capital Fund 500 Startups, running the SF based accelerator program as well as investing in Seed stage start ups. He has invested in over 414 Pre-seed & Seed stage startups during the 6 years spent there. Marvin also spent 10.5 years at Yahoo! as an executive with extensive operating experience expanding businesses across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States in his career at the company. Marvin presently serves on the Investment Committees/Advisory boards of several Venture Capital funds. He also mentors at numerous accelerator programs around the world.
Alexandra Balkova | Partner at Startup Wise Guys
As a General Partner and Head of Portfolio, Alexandra is currently managing 400+ companies from 60+ countries invested by Startup Wise Guys. She has been in venture capital for over 9 years, and her experience includes managing investments, strategic growth, and fundraising. Her work at Startup Wise Guys focuses on portfolio support, empowering entrepreneurs to create positive change by building great international sustainable companies.
Elvis Ābeltiņš | Chief Marketing Officer at DeskTime
With 10+ years of experience in demand generation for global audiences, Elvis specializes in data-driven growth marketing. As CMO at DeskTime, he helps businesses boost productivity and well-being. Previous experience includes leading digital advertising at Latvia’s first unicorn, driving its global growth through performance marketing.
Mike Butcher | Founder & Editor, Pathfounders / Former Editor, TechCrunch
Mike Butcher is frequently named as one of the most influential journalists in European tech. He also founded The Europas Top 100 European Startups List, plus the non-profits Techfugees and TechVets.
He’s been a former Editor-at-Large at TechCrunch for more than 18 years, covering the tech scene in Europe
Gleb Maltsev | Pitch Coach

With over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, and now HR and operations, she's seen how strong communication and smart processes can make a company thrive. Ieva Felman is a passionate startup ecosystem builder and community mover and shaker based in Riga, Latvia. She’s leading initiatives that fuel Riga’s startup scene, sparking innovation, attracting investment, and fostering collaboration. But she’s going beyond the city too, actively promoting cross-border partnerships across the Baltics, Nordics, CEE, and broader European startup ecosystems.
